A Journey Toward Authentic Connection

I believe deeply that what appears to be an obstacle on the path is, in truth, the path itself. Our work is not about fighting or rejecting the parts of you that are in pain, but about meeting them with kind curiosity, exploring and integrating them. It is there that true transformation can take place.

My practice is centered on a relational and present-moment focused approach. I am currently in a 1.5-year training for the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a specialized framework for addressing developmental and relational trauma. My approach is increasingly guided by this model, which I weave together with direct relational work designed to help you move beyond old survival patterns and into a genuine, safe connection with yourself and others.

Depending on what you need, we may work with relational inquiry, the art of real contact, or a combination of both to help you feel more present and whole.

The pillars of my support:

1. Transforming Survival Scripts: Moving into Real Contact

Most of us navigate the world through a lens shaped by childhood, unconsciously carrying old "internal scripts"—the expectation of being judged, neglected, or controlled—into our current relationships. This armor was once necessary to keep us safe, but today it often creates a state of chronic internal stress and keeps genuine closeness out of reach.

In our work together, we gently identify these scripts and bring them into the light of a safe relationship. As these outdated lenses begin to dissolve, we open the door to:

  • Accessing Vulnerable Parts: Reaching the tender, "hidden" aspects of yourself that have been tucked away behind defensive strategies.

  • Clarity of Vision: Gaining a fresh, undistorted perspective on your life and relationships, no longer clouded by the weight of childhood blueprints.

  • A Biological Update: An experience where your nervous system finally recognizes that the old danger is over, allowing you to establish a deep sense of safety and "real contact" in the present.

2. From Adaptation to Agency

Using principles from NARM, we take a resource-oriented look at "how you adapted" rather than "what is wrong with you." We explore your "heart’s desire"—what you truly want for your life—and investigate the patterns (like people-pleasing or emotional withdrawal) that stand in your way. This process helps you move from reacting through old habits to a state of adult agency, where you recognize your power to choose how you relate to your experience today.

3. Honest Sharing

Nervous System RegulationThe goal of our communication is healing and the regulation of the nervous system. I utilize Honest Sharing, a structured way of communicating perceptible thoughts, feelings, and body sensations in the moment. This is a powerful tool for co-regulation, activating the part of your nervous system responsible for safety and social engagement. By being seen and heard in this specific way, your body can move out of "fight or flight" and into a state of relaxed, safe contact.

4. The Somatic Foundation (Embodied Processing)

While my work is now primarily relational, it is supported by my background in somatic (body-centered) therapy.

Embodied Processing Certification: I am certified in Embodied Processing, an approach that aims to heal trauma and nervous system dysregulation by addressing its source directly: physical sensations. This foundation rests on the conviction that the body carries an innate wisdom, holding the imprints of life experiences. By learning to listen to these sensations, we access a profound source of healing and develop the capacity to meet unprocessed stress without falling into overwhelm.
